Overview

When it comes to weddings, I give you high-quality videos that are so good that I can edit some clips as slow motion and others that are sharp and clear. I do events for individuals and businesses, so I know how to shoot in low-light situations like the dance floor and in too-much-light-situations like exteriors in the full sun. I make quick, technical decisions that are so creatively genius that your wedding and event video will look like an artist created them. Well, I AM artist, first trained as a musician who discovered professional video production in college. I went on to earn a two Master's degrees, which gave me insight into culture and business.

What to expect

The first thing to expect from me is a lot of questions about your event or wedding. To capture the best video possible, there are many details that he has to know. It's not as simple as pulling out an iPhone and tapping the record button.

Before asking those questions, I like to get a sense of who you are. So, expect some small talk because I'm a friendly man. But then I get right into business with a soft transition.
Who's your audience?
Where will the video be shown? (Website? Social media? Family Archive on a hard drive?)
Why do you need the video?
Are there certain elements that you DEFINITELY want on the video?
Tell me about the event.
Etc.

Then, I'll ask you what your expectations are about deliverables.
How long do you want the final video?
Do you want interviews of some audience members?
Will you want the video delivered to you on thumb drives? Google Drive?
How many total videos do you want? (I can create different clips that you post on social media.)
When is the deadline of the final edit?
Do you want it edited or would you rather I give you the raw video so you can edit it?

The last part of our conversation will be about the future. What are the "next steps" to get the ball rolling?Afterwards, it'll probably be more small talk and then a quick goodbye.

And then I get started on those "next steps" and will remain in communication with you. As part of the "next steps," I'll send you a summary of the project and a cost estimate so that you and I are clear about the expectations. The day before the event, I'll text or email you to confirm whether the event is still happening.

I try to make it as easy and pleasant as possible for you. So, don't hesitate to send me your questions!
