Gifted

Gifted was born in the Bronx in 1996, but raised in Suffern, NY. He grew up listening to rap music and started writing his own rhymes at a young age, inspired by the greats of the genre, like Eminem and 50 Cent.

In 2017, Gifted released his debut single “Honey.” The song was a hit, garnering nearly 3 million streams to this day, and it helped to introduce Gifted to a wider audience, even gaining the attention of an a&r at Shady Records. A year later in 2018, Gifted would open up for one of his favorite artists, A Boogie. The show was a success and led to him being offered a record deal by Shady Records, which he respectfully declined.

Gifted would eventually land a role on Netflix’s ‘Rhythm N Flow’ which was unfortunately canceled due to the pandemic. Since then, Gifted has been relatively quiet until recently, releasing his song ‘Love This Summer’ in May of 2023. This was his first song released since 2020. Despite coming so close to the stardom he’s dreamed and not yet broken through, he’s still persistent and hungry as ever.
