The Gene-n-Tonics:
This well known group combines the elements of the Great American Songbook and Jazz/Rock Fusion to take you on a musical journey from 1920 to Today! Core band members Nic Cocco, Guitar; Don Santilli, Sax; Don Turner, Bass; Karen Tomalis; Drums and Roberto Warren on Percussion produce an amazing array of music that is tantalizing to audiences of all ages! The members of the band have been performing on stages of all sizes for over 40 years with some of the best names in the industry and collectively have performed 100+ shows. The band can perform as a 3-piece trio all the way up to 11-piece providing you with the full array of music and sound!!

December 12, 2016We had our annual Holiday Party and finding entertainment has always been a challenge. We decided to go with a Jazz band this year and with some luck we found Gene-n-Tonics. The music was way above our expectations and every one in the band was super friendly! I highly recommend them and we will definitely be using them again! Thanks for being so fantastic!!

August 9, 2016Let me start by saying; we planned this outdoor anniversary party for several months, there was no changing the date and our house is too small for a large party. It poured rain all day. Nic Cocco and the band were stuck, outside, in a party tent we had and we tried to squeeze the guests into our home. Gene-n-Tonics were fantastic. They were real troopers in the rain and all our guests thought they sounded wonderful, we had our windows open to enjoy the music. Don't hesitate to hire them for your next event, they are very professional and are accomplished musicians.

May 10, 2015Saturday, May 9, 2015 we were elated to enjoy the fantastic sounds of Gene-n-Tonics with guest Nichole New at Steiny's Restaurant in Shelby Twp. The band works together perfectly and Nicole delivered a top-notch performance; keeping us on the edge of our seats waiting and wanting more. Steiny's is a great venue for this group; you have a great view and can hear their amazing sounds no matter where you were seated. We look forward to hearing and seeing them soon.

We have our own sound and lighting systems for small venues (Bars, Night Clubs, Private Parties/Events and Corporate Events). We rent or will use the facilities sound and lighting systems for larger venues as we know the quality of equipment is as important to show the songs themselves!

The unique sound of the Gene-n-Tonics stem from the highly talented and diverse group of the musicians that make up the band in combination with the range of music the band performs. Nic Cocco, Guitarist and band leader, has performed with many top artists and has been performing for audiences for 4 decades. Don Santilli, along with Roberto Warren and Karen Tomalis, have been performing for over 40-years each and when you mix that with a really talented bass and drums, you get an amazing array of sounds and energy that excite people of all ages!
With over 200 well known songs in their portfolio ranging from Duke Ellington to Stevie Wonder and specializing in the performance of traditional and modern Jazz/Rock/Fusion/Dance, the rhythmic beats and smooth melodies of the Gene-n-Tonics elevate every event to its highest potential!
