March 17, 2020We hired Geminye Studios to film short promotional videos for our library Halloween event, 'Haunted Library' The quality far met our expectations and were professional quality. The videos were so well done people were questioning what was fact and fiction with the 'ghosts' of the library. While I don't have the most expensive equipment, or the most extensive experience in this field, what I do have is an ability to tell a story with video, and to tell it in a way that is interesting. I believe it is about using what you have to its best capability, rather than having something expensive that isn't fully utilized. I use vintage lenses and prefer a more filmic aesthetic for my videos, but I'm willing to work toward achieving the look and feel you want.
I became interested in videography a few years ago, using video as a way of telling stories, but not my own stories. Looking at life through a camera lens and while in editing, you have the opportunity to tell someone else's story, to give it a unique angle and give the world a glimpse into their lives.
