Gary has been singing and playing guitar since high school (a long time ago). He studied classical guitar in Vermont and jazz and blues guitar in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He played lead guitar for a number of rock bands in Northeast Wisconsin and formed some folk guitar groups after college. He plays a wide variety of acoustic oriented music but is best known for his ability to accurately duplicate the finger picking styling of James Taylor (if you ask him to play a James Taylor song he probably knows it).
