My first passion is my family, Leonette, my wife, Kristyn, my oldest daughter, and Brooklynn, my youngest. Leonette and I are high school sweethearts. Our first date was the Junior/Senior Prom my Junior year. We were married on February 14th and have been married for over 30 years. Collective “Awww, how sweet.”

Photography has been a passion of mine for over 35 years. In February of 2011, I opened a studio and began my new career as an entrepreneur. People often ask me what it is about photography that excites me. It has always been easy to answer that question. “It is capturing the moment.” When shooting on location, I cannot wait to get back to my computer to download the images. Did I get the moment(s)? Sometimes the moment isn't what I expected it to be for technical or compositional reasons. Other times, my personal sense of satisfaction soars. I have just captured a moment in time that will never been seen again except through my vision. In studio, I shoot tethered directly to my computer and wait with anticipation for every image to load.

Family portraits, corporate portraits, bridal portraits, engagement portraits, newborn portraits, senior portraits, pet portraits, corporate events, wedding events, reunion events, sport events – all have moments that will be lost forever, unless I capture them.
