In addition to his years of stellar participation in our Symphony Orchestra, I have used him as part of a string quartet on two occasions to represent ETYO. The first was at the Tyler Cystic Fibrosis Association's fundraiser and the second was at the Tyler Women's Symphony League's December 2025 holiday gathering. On both occasions, the response was terrific. Garrett is always prompt, prepared and professional. I highly recommend Garrett White for your musical needs. Hi, I'm Garrett White, a violinist based in Waco, Texas. I've been playing for eight years and have experience performing at weddings and special events.
I currently play with the Baylor Campus Orchestra and bring four additional years of orchestral experience with the East Texas Youth Orchestra. I've also played in quartets, and I'd especially enjoy working as part of a quartet or alongside other musicians. I can provide violin on my own when that is the right fit for an event, too.
I don't rely on a fixed repertoire. Instead, I'll work with you on the music and timing you want, and I can learn requested songs with enough preparation time. I'm available for ceremonies, cocktail hours, receptions, church or community events, and other occasions that could use live violin.
I'm based in Waco, can travel up to 90 miles, and am available case by case, with most weekends open. Send me your date, venue, and ideas for the music, and we can see what works.
