About
Garrett & Tamara are a New York-based husband and wife duo specializing in live music for weddings, private and corporate events, club and resort appearances, festivals, and more. The couple's journey began in 2015 after matching on the popular dating app, Tinder. The two quickly bonded over their shared love of music and began writing and performing together, often showcasing new material in Central Park where they performed regularly. Their music draws inspiration from and pays homage to timeless artists like: Etta James, Louis Armstrong, Harry Belafonte, and Marvin Gaye as we as contemporaries such as Leon Bridges, Chris Stapleton, H.E.R., and Amy Winehouse. Since first matching on Tinder in 2015, Garrett & Tamara have performed across the country at some of the most iconic and prestigious venues including: Lincoln Center, The Perelman Performing Arts Center, The New York Botanical Garden, Cipriani, The United Nations, Mohonk Mountain House, Prospect Park Boathouse, The Parrish Art Museum, The River Café, Wölffer Estate Vineyard, Gurney's Montauk, and Blue Hill at Stone Barns. Previous clients include: MasterCard, Citizens Bank, Volkswagen, Salesforce, Barclays, UBS, Fidelity, Boston Consulting Group, Time Out, Saks 5th Ave., Sotheby’s, and many many more. With nearly 500 events to date, Garrett & Tamara are the perfect addition to any event that demands world-class entertainment.
Additional booking notes
We provide all our own professional sound equipment at no additional cost. Our setup is streamlined for efficiency of space and will ensure that we sound our best. When necessary, we're always happy to connect directly with 3rd party sound companies and can easily connect with any venue that has 1/4" or XLR line-level direct feeds to their system.
We do not currently provide staging.
