G. June is a Christian music artist with a unique style that blends hip hop, gospel, r&b and soul. He began studio recording at the age of 15 and has an extensive song-writing, rap, and performance background. He performs with a live band. Who Lee & Rickfire are his longtime producers.


For several years he was unable to record or perform when a polyp formed on his vocal cord. Consequently he had 2 surgical procedures to remove it. Considering the possibility that his music career was permanently over, he promised that if his voice was restored, he’d use his gifts to uplift the kingdom of God.


His recently released album, Not Just Sundays, is his first foray into recording hip hop/gospel. The first single from the project, Jesus Loves Me featuring his 13-year old daughter “Lani D.”, was released in January 2021.


Prior to his latest project he primarily created in the hiphop/rap genre under the name Vengence. He was part of a group called Dirtheadz in the early 2000s before “releasing” his first solo project called The Autobiography of G. June in 2005.


Under the name Vengence he opened shows for headline acts such as Nas, Black Eyed Peas, Akon and the Wailers.


He was born in Columbus, Ohio as Gary Wayne Allison Jr. He currently resides in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Church affiliations include the Mount Period Baptist Church in Columbus, OH and the Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church in Rio Rancho, NM.
