The kids loved the face painter. I expected simple colors on each child's face, but we received breathtaking designs. She had so many options for each child to choose from and she was fast.
The magician arrived early and waited patiently while the kids sat down. The simpler tricks were a huge hit for the kids. They enjoyed the animals and the birthday girl got several chances to feel extra special by being in the show. And he was able to engage all the kids in some part of show which left them amazed. There were more intricate tricks that really entertained the adults. What a great show.

Miriam was wonderful! We had a range of kids from age 2-7, and everyone had a wonderful time, even the parents! She did a little magic show, beautiful, full face painting and balloon animals. She was so great with the kids. Also very communicative leading up to the party so I had very clear expectations. Highly recommend!!

Absolutely wonderful experience all around! Nothing but positive to say! Punctual, entertaining for both kids and adults, funny! The magician, Clemente, went above and beyond to make it a special day for my 7 y/o son. The facepainter/balloon artist came dressed as a clown! What a fun surprise for the kids! I know this party created lasting memories!!! So pleased!

What to expect
For most characters and clowns we do a mini magic show or sing-along, a game, face painting, and balloons.
Our performers are child care specialists, not prima donas.

Miriam Gardner-Ryan, otherwise known as Funnie the Clown, has been providing children's birthday party entertainment for over 30 years. We also provide characters, magicians, face painters, balloon twisters and more.
Holiday entertainment includes Easter Bunny, Santa, Mrs. Claus, Elves, and The Grouch
Corporate parties are welcome too!
Additional booking notes
For face painters and balloonists, we generally need a table and chairs. We can provide our own if needed.
