Thank you for sharing your concerns about our singing telegram service. I apologize for any disappointment caused by our performance. However, I would like to clarify that the reviewer was not in attendance at the event, so this review appears to be based on hearsay only.

Regarding the performance, I'd like to address a few points. Although the gig was originally requested in January, we were already booked for that date and time. However, due to a cancellation, we were able to accommodate this request at the last minute. Our entertainer, Jimmy Pepper, is an experienced musician who has performed throughout the Tri-state area without any prior complaints. However, due to the short notice, Jimmy didn't have the opportunity to fully rehearse every song. But, being the entertainer he is, he took audience requests and sang impromptu songs. The residents in attendance seemed to enjoy the show, laughing and clapping the entire time. I have worked in nursing homes and senior living centers for over thirty years, and the one thing I notice is that seniors tell it like it is. If they don't like something they're not going clap or laugh like they did at this show.

Regarding the instrument being out of tune, it was part of Jimmy's comedy shtick to add a humorous touch to the performance as he wanted to sing some songs acapella. I'd also like to respectfully disagree with the comment about our attire. I wore a beautiful burgundy lace top for Valentine's Day, which was neat and clean. My husband, who accompanied me as my driver due to my recent shoulder surgery, also dressed neatly and clean. Even so, he sat in the back. Finally, I'd like to invite the reviewer or anyone else to view a recording of the event, which shows the residents' positive reactions to the performance.
