Darcel is a professional journalist, author, executive coach and motivational speaker. She is a founding member and co-president of Full Circle Health, PLLC and Executive Director of the not for profit, Full Circle Life Enrichment Center. As co president of Full Circle, Darcel oversees new project acquisitions; and develops community programs and partnerships.
Before joining Full Circle, Darcel spent over 15 years in national news production and public relations that led to her oversight responsibilities at the 1997 Olympic Torch Relay. She has spent a lifetime educating millions of Americans on every major news issue through her stories as a senior national news producer for CBS News and the FOX News Channel. Darcel has also worked as a senior producer and senior media consultant for the Discovery Channel, the Montel Williams Show and NBC News. Her public relations experience includes functioning as a Vice President/Director of Media Relations at Ketchum Public Relations Worldwide.
Darcel’s dream has always been to use her gifts for news, video production, and public relations to produce culturally competent, spiritually sensitive mental health programs. She is able to bring her considerable experience to bear on the various educational and promotional videos Full Circle produces. As a motivational speaker, Darcel believes in an action plan that comes from within and as a woman who has strived to personally always be at her best she believes that her energy can help light the fire of others.
Darcel earned her Bachelor's degree from Barnard College, Columbia University and her Masters degree in journalism from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism, where she has served as an adjunct professor and mentor. She has also received certificates from Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business for Managers.
Darcel and her soulmate Derek oversee Full Circle Health and have published the book, Fruit of the Spirit Thorns in Our Flesh: 8 Divine Relationship Secrets which focuses on the power of marriage.
Her recent book is "HotFoot Sally FireFoot Sue: Girlfriend Reflections on Life".
