Our background and training is primarily based in classical music but we enjoy the opportunity to tailor our musical choices to fit the needs and desires of our clients.
Friends with Strings came about from the time we spent enjoying college music classes and orchestra with friends. Because of our mutual interests and love for music we looked for ways to play together outside of standard performance settings. The core of this ensemble is a husband and wife team. Brad is a very accomplished upright and electric bassist and has played with college and community orchestras as well as in grassroots bands. Grace is a well rounded violinist and pianist and has an extensive background performing in college and community orchestras, overseeing her private music studio for 14 years, and bringing music to others as an event musician for over 18 years in the US and abroad.
