July 7, 2025Loyal fan!!!
While this is not an event review, I've been to many of the events that they have played at and judging by the crowd and the remarks, there was nothing but positive comments!!! From the moment they burst on scene, I became a fan!!! Their music brings back so many memories of days gone by when life was so much simpler, just like the music!!! The vocals are spot on and the harmonies are, well lets just say, AWESOME!!! "Mad Dog" Mike Harrigan is an amazing lead guitar player, whether she's playing the keyboards, saxaphone, or the recently add flute, the multi- talented "SuzieQ" Sue Grimm handles it all!!! "Boom-Boom" Barb Curtis plays a mean upright bass and "K-Man" Kevin McLaughlin never misses a beat on those drums!!! Now lets get to the front row!!! Whether he's playing rhythm guitar or singing lead vocals "Frankie Wayne" Frank Whitelaw does it all!! He's the band manager, clothing director, set designer, etc, etc etc.!!! And now we come to three ladies that can sooth the heart of the most savage beast, "The Moonbeams" Donna Fortune, Jessica Kemp, and Megan Land each on their own have beautiful voices and it shows when they have their own songs they sing but when you put the three of them together the harmonies are music to your ears!!! I can't forget Frankie, who when not singing lead, also adds his voice to the girls harmonies!!! Put all that together and you have the COMPLETE PACKAGE!!! Finally, like every package you need someone special to make sure all that talent come out the way it should so with that said, I bring you Russell Feher,, the self employed sound engineer extraordinaire!!! Russ has that special ear that can hear what many of us can't and he knows how to get the best sound possible!!!
If you've never heard them do yourself a favor and look for a show near you and check them out. They will be playing 2 shows this coming Saturday the 12th at the Clinton County Fair in Plattsburg!!! (2-4 pm and 6-8pm) They will also be at the St. Lawrence County Fair, the Lake Placid Car Show, the Bloomingdale Block Party, the Battle of Plattsburg, and the list goes on and on!!!

What to expect
The audience can expect to hear hits from the 50s and early 60s from a band that not only performs the tunes, but comes with a stage set and period appropriate wardrobe , to create the sound, look and feel for that time. This high-energy show draws the audience in with crowd participation on some songs, where the vocalists pass out percussion instruments to audience members, allowing them to "join the band". It's very common for crowds to dance and sing along with the band, as they play those timeless hits. This band puts on a show.
