My name is Frank Vencci and I want to bring back real hip hop. I believe that with enough hype and a team behind me, I can bring lyricism back to the rap game. I specialize in performing (I've been singing on stage since I was 5) and I also teach kids how to rap and perform. I just dropped my first mixtape called Anger Management and I'm currently working on part 2. I'm waiting for proper management to actually work on my album, but I have over 500 songs written. I give energy whenever I perform because I want the whole room to feel my love of it.

When I perform I try to interact with the audience and make every member feel like I'm talking to them specifically. You should expect a lot of call and response, and intros and background stories to the songs I perform. It will be a roller coaster type performance. I will make you move, then listen, then think, then move again. You can also relate to what I rap about.
Shawn McGowan recording under the alias Frank Vencci, was born October
11th 1992 in Oakland, California. He chose the alias as a result of
his fascination in Italian mobster movies. He said it wasn’t until
after he chose the alias that he found out there was an actual Mafia
with the last name Vinci. He was an Oakland kid with a natural
attraction to music and nothing much to do. In the fall of 2008 Vencci
was barely starting his junior year at Oakland high and was introduced
to BRL (Beats Rhymes and Life). He had never hit the rap scene before
yet when he wrote his first verse, he spat out phenomenal lyrics and
his view of the world was heard for the first time. He was then
featured on the “The Grand Entrance” album during the second year and
“Reaching for the stars” mix tape during the third year of Oakland
high’s BRL program. He also participated in several performances in
various locations in the bay area. From then on Vencci’s passion for
music expanded to ambitions towards learning the electric guitar,
instrumental creations and singing. He entered a rap contest and
although he did not make it to the finals his video was viewed by
unexpected thousands, after the contest ended. He also continued to
provide moral support to the Oakland high BRL team, though he was no
longer attending high school. He was then hired as an intern, helping
future Musicians be heard by the world. Vencci's influences in hip hop
are Nas, (link hidden)le, Drake, Just Blaze, and the graven images of hip hop.
His guitar ambitions are influenced by Rage Against the Machine and
Slash. And his Grandmother is an immense influence in vocals.
Frank Vencci is apart of a group called T.F.o.H.H (The Future of Hip Hop).
When I first start off with an intro, I like the room to be dark with a little bit of light on me. After the music starts light it up!
I always start of with an intro that is somewhat spoken word. Then depending on the crowd I will do a song to get people hyped up. The rest depends on how big of a set I have. I can either keep the energy at 100, or I can bring it down a notch then bring the energy back up.
I idolized Jay Z as a performer growing up. He always did something epic. I also like the way J Cole, Drake, and Kendrick Lamar perform. So I try to take a little bit from them and incorporate them into my performance style.

I'm a rapper who has music for everyone and every occasion. Not all rap music has to have profanity. I believe in being creative and telling stories.
