Foster-Gray Photography

When you hire me, I will do more than just show up with a camera. For starters I will talk to the event coordinator about expectations; go over the shot list and ask if he or she has any particular requests.
I expect to arrive to the venue early, not just to give myself a chance to rest but to also get a feel for the place. Not two places are the same, so arriving early allows me to check out the lighting and test my camera gear. From there, get a few candids of guests and crew milling around.

I got into photography in 2013. At the time, I didn't really know what I wanted to do and started shooting a little bit of everything! However, I eventually learned I needed to focus (no pun intended) on shooting things I really enjoyed. A passion, if you will.
From there, I discovered real estate photography which is my "day job". However, after shooting events I learned I loved shooting candids as I feel they tell a story. At times you feel like a fly on the wall, while others you may seem like paparazzi. Regardless, corporate event photography is a love of mine because of the storytelling possibilities, as well as the ability to capture special moments.
