We are primarily an old school cover r&b band, with a smattering of the newer stuff such as Maroon 5 and Blackeye Peas. People love our dance songs like our Motown medley, "Play That Funky Music", "Kiss", "Slide", "Celebration", "Brick House", etc.
We are an experienced five-piece band who loves to jam. We are also one of the few bands who actually practice! We have our songs set up so that we can keep the groove going without stopping, going from one jam directly to the next.
We believe in having fun because when we have fun, everybody has fun. If you're looking for an old school r&b band who can rock the house or slow it down for a nice slow dance, give Force of Nature a shout.
Peace

Price Range: $400 and up
Gig Length: 90 - 180 minutes
Showmanship, experience, r&b dance and slow songs, a few newer tunes, a little bit of rock, blues and plenty of funk. Great vocals, seasoned entertainment, just a lot of fun for everyone!
Force of Nature started when its members were teenagers and has existed in various incarnations over the decades. The members are very experienced players and still know how to rock the house!
Force of Nature features a drummer, bassist, guitarist, keyboard player and lead vocalist. We love harmonies. We perform songs from the 60s (e.g. "Knock on Wood", "Soul Man" and "Mustang Sally"), the 70s (e.g. "Let's Groove", "LeFreak", "Back Stabbers"), the 80s (e.g. "Kiss", "Word Up", "No Parking on the Dance Floor", Sledgehammer"), the 90s (e.g. "Nice and Slow", "No Diggity", "Home Alone"), and the 2000s (e.g. "Moves Like Jagger", "One More Night", "I Gotta Feelin").
Because we practice weekly, we are always on point. People love us and routinely beg for one more song by the end of the gig, and we always comply because we aim to give more than what is expected of us.
We bring our own sound system (mics, monitors, speakers, etc.) and lights if needed.
A 3-set gig typically consists of 12-15 songs per set. We usually start out with catchy covers like our Motown Medley or maybe "Play That Funky Music" by Wild Cherry, just to capture interest and show what we're all about. We'll also do slow a couple slow songs the first set. Second set is mainly funk dance music such as "Flashlight", "Hollywood Swinging" and "DaButt". This is the set where we want the crowd to get their groove on, so to speak. The third may include some blues, rock, and some of the newer tunes we do. Slow here songs as well.
