January 4, 2018Unique entertainment
My booking agency hired the Flying Daniela for a corporate dinner event. I waited on my review for our client's feedback, but none was given. My experience was very good. Daniela arrived early with an assistant, performed as expected, and was "flexible" with the other activities going on.

What to expect
All of my acts are family friendly, I usually incorporate dance, acro and contortion into them as well. I can customize the act to the event.
Contortion Performance Set: Performance of a 3 - 6 minute choreographed piece for a sitting or standing audience. I have several pieces available for large or small events. Minimum space required 50 - 70 sq ft. Optimal: 100 sq ft.
Contortion Ambient: This is an improv set of about 15 minutes max. Up to 2 sets per hour (due to stress on the body). Contortion elements are much lighter than a Performance set. Unlike other types of ambient acts, my contortion requires a protected area where a pedestal, box or spin wheel can be placed. Minimum space required 20-25 sq ft. Optimal: 100+ sq ft. for acro elements.
Walking Ambient: Light acro only - with some flexy moves. Space Requirements: cannot be in a crowded room, otherwise, I cannot safely do acro. Interaction is dependent on whether guests seem open to it. This is more effective with other ambient artists present.
Type of Contortion: This is a fluid style of contortion with hand balancing, control and prop manipulation. My preference is to perform a choreographed piece for each gig. Customization is possible at an additional quoted cost (and requires at least 2 weeks notice)
All aerial requests - The venue will need to be reviewed for safe, appropriate rigging.
Aerial Apparatus Performances: I have a few pre-choreographed pieces available to different styles of music. Pieces range from 4 - 8 minutes. My pieces tend to be more dance-like with some soft contortion thrown in. I love to spin..so you can almost count on the apparatus being in constant motion for any piece.
(Lyra and Straps)
Dance: I have formal dance training and love to incorporate this into my routines. This is usually more appropriate for SHOWS.
About
My circus journey started when I was just 6 years old. My family took me to see Kooza (Cirque Du Soleil). I couldn’t take my eyes off the stage! I knew right then, that I wanted to be a Cirque artist. From that point on, we went to every Cirque Du Soleil show that came to Atlanta. My training started with Rhythmic Gymnastics (around the same time as that first Cirque show). Since then I have branched out to several disciplines such as:
Dance: Ballet & Pointe, Contemporary
Silks (Tissue)
Contortion
Handstand/Hand balancing
Aerial Lyra (Aerial hoop)
Aerial Straps
Acro
Ball manipulation
I strive to make my acts/performances unique and unusual.
I have performed at festivals, public events, and private events.
