Flutters with Fire

Professionally known as Flutters with Fire, Sarah is a multidisciplinary performer with a lifelong passion for dance, theater, and the circus arts. With a dynamic background spanning fire performance, burlesque, aerial arts, character work, and movement instruction, Sarah brings versatility, precision, and presence to every stage.
As a fire eater and prop artist, she specializes in silk, LED, and fire manipulation using fans, poi, staff, double staff, palm torches, fire fingers and eating torches. Her aerial expertise includes lyra, lollipop, sling, strap loops and chains, complemented by her work as a burlesque and go-go dancer, character actor and yoga instructor.
Sarah is an ambassador, performer and master activator with Walter Productions, regularly dancing at Walter Studios and Walter Where?House, as well as prominent events
such as McDowell Mountain Music Festival, Desert Hearts, and Burning Man. She also
performs with the Relentless Beats’ Weird and Wonderful ensemble, with appearances at
major festivals including Goldrush, Body Language and Decadence, and venues like
Warehouse 215.
Certified in fire eating and fire breathing through Fearless Fire Retreats, Sarah continues to deepen her mastery of the flow arts. Her formal training began at age five and includes extensive study in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, contemporary, hip hop, and Afrikana styles throughout college and beyond. During her time at the University of Arizona (2012–2017), she trained consistently within the Ina Gittings Dance Program, taking several dance courses each semester to refine her technique and expand her choreographic range. Sarah continues to take jazz, heels, hip-hop and burlesque classes in her spare time.
