Daniel de Cordoba is a bonafide professional performer, teaching artist and choreographer. He teaches authentic Flamenco, Classical Spanish Dance, Escuela Bolera (Dances of the 18th -19th century )and Bailes regionales (Jota, Muniera, Vaso etc.).
Also Castanet technique and playing. He is available for special events, school assemblies, master dance classes, private lessons and choreography. Suitable for all ages.

What to expect

Daniel de Cordoba teaches authentic Spanish & flamenco dances. His lessons include fundamental flamenco movements of the hands (floreo), Arms (brazeo), footwork (zapateado), handclapping rhythms (palmadas) and movement. His choreographies are based on authentic dance forms. He also teaches classical & theatrical Spanish dances for theater, ballet and opera. Courses are also available for Escuela Bolera - Pericet syllsbus (18th-19th century Spanish dance based on balletic & folk steps). Also courses for castanet playing and technique. Suitable for all age groups and beginner, intermediate and professional levels.

About

Daniel de Córdoba is a recognized international Spanish & flamenco dance artist, teacher, choreographer and educator. His career spans the world from performing on luxury liners to concert halls , special events, festivals and opera. In New York City he performed at Lincoln Center, Towne Hall, Carnegie Hall and on Broadway.
In Dallas, he founded the Bailes Españoles Company and appeared in almost every venue available in North Texas
He has relocated to Hot Springs, Arkansas and resides as teaching artist at the Emergent Arts Center.
He is available for master dance classes at other venues.
