What to expect

When the day of the event arrives, Jessica will arrive 15-20 minutes early to ensure complete set-up prior to guests arriving.

For every hour performing, she is entitled to a 5-10 minute break to alleviate any potential muscle strain.

She dresses in semi-formal black unless instructed otherwise.

About

When she picked up her first violin over 20 years ago, Jessica instantly knew it was something that would always be special to her. "Music has the ability to speak straight to the heart," she said. "I absolutely love being able to share that with others during special moments in their lives."

Jessica has played in multiple symphonies and various performing groups over the past 20 years. She attended Snow College for 2 years as a Music Education Major. Dr. Brent Smith, the director of Orchestras at the college said, "Jessica is an exceptionally bright young woman, naturally talented leader, and an excellent violinist."

Additional booking notes

If the event is outdoors, it is strongly suggested that you provide a "inclement weather" location. Due to the nature of the violin, any extreme weather conditions {very hot, cold, windy, or wet} can cause changes to the instrument. If the weather is poor and Jessica is not provided with an alternative location, she is not required to continue performing. The remaining balance is still due, even if the performance is not completed.

The sound from a violin can be easily overwhelmed by certain background noise (i.e. a fountain or other water noise). Please keep that in mind when deciding where you would like her to stand during an event.

She has access to her own black folding chair (for use during short breaks and/or during a wedding ceremony), but if you would like to keep with a certain aesthetic, please plan on providing her with an extra chair from your event.
