Encourage women through the power of God's Word! Motivate others to live the life God desires for them. Encourage listeners to fall in love with Scripture and in doing so, they should fall in love with Christ.
Use humor to engage the audience so they can relax and hear what God has prepared for them.
Occasionally use music to make a point.
Finally, always give the opportunity to accept Christ as their personal savior.

April 19, 2024While I was not at the event, (it was the church's Spring Ladies Event) I have received many compliments on the event and the feedback on Joan has been terrific. Words, like, thought-provoking, funny! and engaging are just a few of the positive things about the message she brought.

I have taught ladies for many years. It is my desire to let them know how very valuable they are to God. When I see them grasp this truth, it makes my heart happy. I am in my happy place when I am speaking and/or teaching. I currently serve in our Kids Ministry at my local church. Kids are so honest and hungry to know that they are loved by our Heavenly Father.
I wrote a Children’s Workbook entitled, “Exploring the Fruit of the Spirit” based on Galatians 5:22-23. It was published in July 2023. I believe the nine fruit of the spirit (love, joy, peach, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self-control) give us a glimpse into the character of Christ. It is my prayer that this book will draw many children to Him.
I enjoy spending time with my husband and best friend, Marshall, playing golf, bowling, and traveling. We have four children and eight children. I also enjoy crafting.
I have a heart to share the great news that Jesus loves us "Always and Forever—No Matter What!” Romans 8:38-39 His love is not dependent on anything we do, but rather on everything He did on the cross! I pray this brings you as much joy as it does me!
