I first reached out to First Table Studio a couple of years ago to host a private mixology class for my sister and a few of her colleagues from Johns Hopkins. We wanted something different for a night out, not just dinner or another bar, and it ended up being one of the best decisions we made.
The setup was simple but intentional, the drinks were creative, and the vibe was easy and fun. Everyone was engaged and actually learning while having a great time. It felt more like a high-end experience than just a class.
That night stuck with me. When my wife and I started planning our wedding, we both knew we wanted that same energy behind our bar. We didn’t just want someone pouring drinks; we wanted a team that could create a real atmosphere. Now First Table Studio is crafting our signature cocktails and managing the entire bar experience for our big day this March.

We hired First Table Studio for a party at our home and it was one of the best decisions we made. From the first message, communication was clear and professional. On the day of the event, they showed up on time, set everything up quickly, and made the whole bar area look polished and inviting.
The cocktails were a huge hit. Guests kept talking about how good the drinks were and how much they enjoyed having someone who really knew what they were doing behind the bar. They handled everything from wine to mixed drinks without any stress on our end.

First Table Studio delivers premium bartending and cocktail experiences that turn events into something unforgettable. From weddings to corporate parties to private celebrations, we keep the bar flowing, the drinks sharp, and the guests happy. With experience across major cities and events of all sizes, we bring professionalism, creativity, and a stress-free setup every time.
Additional booking notes
We keep things simple, but the details matter. Here’s what we need to run a smooth bar:
• Space: At least 6x6 feet of clear, level space for the portable bar setup. Preferably near power and water access.
• Access: Easy load-in and parking close to the venue. Stairs and tight hallways should be flagged in advance.
• Lighting: Adequate lighting in the bar area so guests can see the menu and drinks. If outdoors, we recommend supplemental lighting after dark.
• Ice & Storage: We bring ice and coolers, but need a designated area to keep backup stock close by.
• Waste Disposal: Access to trash and recycling bins for bottles, cans, and used glassware.
• Weather Plan (if outdoors): Shade in high heat, cover in case of rain. A tent or canopy is strongly recommended to protect equipment and keep service moving.
What people forget:
• Placing the bar too far from guests slows service and kills flow.
• Not planning for cleanup leads to last-minute stress.
• Outdoor setups need protection from heat, wind, or rain.
