Founded in 2012 Few Miles On is comprised of four veteran musicians with roots in Chicago, Detroit, Pennsylvania and Nashville, each with a shared love and respect for Blues music and its influence on other musical genres. After more than a decade of live shows, the band has crafted their own musical style they call “Southern Blues Groove”. Their high energy shows include a mix of popular Blues, Classic Rock and their own music.
Few Miles On has shared the stage with several top shelf artists including: Derek St. Holmes, Coco Montoya, Fabulous Thunderbirds, Walter Trout, Pat Travers, John Nemeth, Albert Cummings, Wayne Baker Brooks, Jackie Venson, Piper & The Hard Times and more. The band was a quarterfinalist at the 2020 International Blues Challenge in Memphis.
Few Miles On has released five albums available on all streaming platforms. Their music is regularly broadcast worldwide on internet Blues radio programs. In 2025, their most recent album, ‘Mother Lode’ held a position on the Roots Music Report Blues Rock album chart for over 30 weeks, peaking at number 6 and finishing the year at number 40 overall. The album also earned them a nomination for Best Independently Produced Blues Album of 2025 with the Josie Music Awards Independent artists organization.
