In short: you’ll get a speaker who connects, delivers, and makes a lasting impact.
I am a licensed professional counselor with over 15 years of experience in education, working across both special education and general education settings. My background has given me a unique perspective on the challenges children, families, and educators face when navigating big behaviors, executive functioning struggles, and mental health concerns.
In my private practice, I support both kids and adults, helping them build the tools they need to thrive. I also partner closely with parents, empowering them to better understand and respond to their child’s needs while fostering stronger family connections.
As a speaker and trainer, I bring warmth, practicality, and real-world experience to every audience. Whether I’m sharing strategies with parents, collaborating with educators, or guiding professionals, my goal is to make complex challenges feel manageable and to leave participants with tools they can use right away. I specialize in training parents and educators on working with children who struggle with executive functioning skills, display big behaviors, and/or have a history of traumatic experiences.
I am passionate about creating spaces where people feel seen, supported, and inspired—and I would be honored to bring that energy to your event, workshop, or training.
To ensure the best possible experience for your audience, I ask that the following be provided for all speaking engagements:
Microphone & Sound: A wireless lavalier (clip-on) microphone is preferred for freedom of movement. A handheld wireless microphone is an acceptable alternative. Please ensure the sound system is tested prior to the presentation.
Visuals: A projector, screen, and HDMI connection (or appropriate adapter) for slides and visuals. I will provide the presentation on a USB drive and/or via laptop.
Lighting: Adequate lighting on the stage or presentation area so the audience can clearly see me. If stage lighting is available, even and well-lit coverage is preferred.
Staging: A small table for materials and water. If available, a podium or stand for notes. Clear sightlines between me and the audience are important.
Room Setup: Flexible seating (classroom, theater, or round tables) is fine, depending on your event. For interactive workshops, space for small group discussions is ideal.
Recording/Photography: Recording or photography of the presentation is welcome with prior consent.
I am happy to adapt my setup to meet your venue’s capabilities and will collaborate with your team to ensure everything runs smoothly.
