With a variety of experiences and interests you can expect an enthusiastic and flexible mermaid entertainer at your event. Let’s collaborate to make your mermaid dream a reality!

You’ll notice in the photos there are very many looks! There are 3 original character options depending on your needs and budget! All characters are available at any event, I’ve just made recommendations to help guide you!

1. Kaelyn the Queen Angelfish includes a premium silicone tail based off of my favorite saltwater fish, the Queen Angelfish! This is great for realistic mermaid needs and the textured tail enhances the interactive experience. Ideal for ocean adventures and beyond!
2. Kaelyn the Koi Fish is also a silicone tail but is better equipped for rougher environments. Ideal for a freshwater spot in Central Florida. With a mythical orange and yellow glow, this option complements any event with neutral beauty.
3. Kaelyn the Mermaid has a lot of flexibility as this is a fabric tail option. With multiple color options available, this is ideal for a mermaid experience with less realistic expectations for a budget friendly event. While silicone tails are often custom made to the mermaid entertainers design, fabric tails are often seen in collections by different companies available for purchase.

*Diver Kaelyn is not a mermaid character but rather a new opportunity to exhibit presentations and performances while scuba diving/freediving.

Upon receiving clarification on the desired mermaid character for the booking I will need the required details to set the logistics prior to the event. I will supply with you any credentials needed upon booking including specialty performer insurance, diving insurance, diving instruction insurance, PADI Instructor credentials, and Emergency Response qualifications in CPR, First Aid, and Emergency Oxygen Provider.

For both land and water based events, an assistant will always be in attendance for safety and ease of mermaid wrangling! Ideally, to preserve the magic, after arrival and introductions, it is best to have a small private area for the “transformation”. From here, the provided assistant will be able to transport the mermaid character to and from the performance spot(s).

My name is Kaelyn and I have been entertaining as a professional mermaid for almost 14 years! Starting my journey as a mermaid side kick for a pirate reenactment crew, I built a strong foundation of working with and inspiring kids at festivals, faires, parades, and themed events.

Pursuing a career in diving, I supplemented my mermaid skills with professional certifications to dive deeper. As a PADI instructor, I am qualified to teach scuba diving, freediving, mermaid diving, and emergency first response courses. I utilize these skills everyday I am in the water, especially working around or with children!

I have several years of aquarium dive safety work experience working to restructure protocols through COVID and maintain the highest standard of safety in the industry. I have worked at various facilities across the state of Florida and additionally have guest performed at others!

With confidence I approach opportunities to interact with critters safely and correctly in adherence to industry standards. Armed with a BS in Animal Science and experience working with rehabilitating and resident marine life animals at rescue facilities and aquariums, I’m your fish if animals are involved.

I have returned to Central Florida after working with opening cast for SeaWorld Abu Dhabi in the UAE. Having experience working with underwater audio, bubble curtains, and lighting crews are skills I was grateful to develop and look forward to utilizing in the future.

In addition to mermaid entertainment and diving instruction I intended to pursue more challenging environments to educate and inspire salt and freshwater enthusiasts everywhere. Undeniably there will be underwater stunt work and exploratory trips in Fathomless Adventures’ future.

Specifically for water based events, having as much info about the venue as possible is incredibly helpful! Details about depth, entry/exit points, water quality, and safety procedures for swimming or diving.
