Farhan was easily one of the highlights of our Hindu wedding ceremony. Our guests LOVED him. He played background acoustic sitar for the majority of the outdoor ceremony and while guests arrived and left the lawn. He also played indoors during our cocktail hour.
He is such a genuine person, and his passion for music and performing was more than evident. Farhan even learned how to play an instrumental bollywood song for my bridal entrance less than a week before the wedding!
I'm so thrilled that he was a part of our wedding day and would definitely recommend him to friends.

We had the best time with Farhan and Fontaine! They were great at reading the crowd for our family party, sometimes playing mellow relaxing music, and other times they would turn it into a fun dance party! They are polite and respectful and very talented. If you are Indian you will enjoy them immensely, if you are not you are bound to enjoy it too!!

Farhan and his wife Fontain exceeds expectations in the role of a top notch professional sitar players! Both of them adapts to the new environment when surrounded by new audiences and plays VERY WELL! Farhan and Fontain (an amazing couple) works well under pressure especially when the audience have so much expectation from them and requesting both to play certain beats in classical Indian and Pakistani music on the spot! I personally enjoyed listening to their performances and it’s sooo soothing when they perform! With a positive attitude and is detail-oriented when performing so professionally, Farhan and Fontain goes beyond the call of duty by seeking out and following up on additional responsibilities!
We all had an amazing time and the guests were greatly enjoyed every second of Farhan and Fontain performances! Not to mention, Fontain has a beautiful voice and will sing so beautifully and so well!
Farhan and Fontain are so easy to work with they always make sure the audience are happy while performing! I had asked for a special announcements and accommodations to be met at our event, and both Farhan and Fontain played so efficiently and exceeded our expectations! They both are on time and can be reached easily! Very friendly, kind gestures and very professional!

I hired Flash to play during my wedding ceremony and cocktail hour and let me tell you, he didn’t not disappoint! He even played a custom song for me while walking down the aisle. All my guests loved him and he played with so much passion. Not to mention, the fun surprise of my guest realizing he was playing Drake. I’m already trying to come up with another event to hire him again. Just amazing!

About
Sitar player Farhan Khan (aka Flash) has a unique style and has created a perfect balance between East and West.
He is a sitar student of the internationally famous Ustad Habib Khan and is a graduate of Musicians Institute in Hollywood California.
He earned his BA in music engineering from Cogswell College in Sunnyvale California.
East meets West in the left and right hands of Farhan Khan as he creates a sonic experience that is both powerful and soothing.
Farhan has several CD credits including Mystic Kiss, Flash I and Flash II, and his most recent CDs, Zen 432 and Fountain of Light, which are collaborative original works with international recording artist Fontain.
Fahan Khan's performances are melodic, enchanting, ambient, groove music inspiring dance, songs, and creativity.
