Faith Evangeline and Her Band

Its our desire to keep our entertainment classy and classic. Faith will be in vintage attire as suits the music, and her band will be dressed according to the dress standards of the event.

We offer both atmospheric music to set a background mood for any event, as well as dance and entertainment music as would have been popular back in the days of Swing.

We will provide our own sound equipment/amplification. Depending on the time frame of the gig we will do 45 -60 minute sets with 10-15 minute breaks in between.

Faith Evangeline is a jazz vocalist and vintage fashion designer with musical roots in the great ballads and jazz standards of the 20’s, 30’s, 40’s and 50’s. Faith has performed in the Netherlands, France, New York City, Washington, D.C., Colorado, Austin and at locations in her hometown of San Antonio, including the Gonzalez Convention Center. She is known for the vibrancy and style of her authentic vintage fashion, and a melifluous voice which harkens back to musical influences which include Peggy Lee, Ella Fitzgerald, Vera Lynn, Julie London, and Jo Stafford. In addition to performances at jazz clubs and festivals, Faith has for a decade worked closely with the World War II and veteran communities performing the songs of “the greatest generation,” and facilitating opportunities to connect them with the modern generation.

We appreciate a designated performance area for the band, large enough for people, instruments and amps/speakers, and close to electrical outlets.
