Frances Mullins weaves fire and movement into striking visual experiences with her dragon staff performances. Her work blends technical skill, fluidity, and expressive style, creating immersive shows that draw audiences in and leave them mesmerized. Passionate about safety and preparation, Frances approaches every performance with care, professionalism, and a love for the art of fire.
Space: A clear, open area of at least 15–20 feet in diameter (depending on the number of props and spins). Fire needs plenty of room—no low ceilings, flammable materials, or tight spaces.
Surface: Non-flammable, stable surface (concrete, brick, stone, or packed earth). Avoid grass, wood floors, or carpets unless properly protected.
Lighting: Dim or low lighting works best to showcase the fire. I can adapt to outdoor daylight, but darker environments make the performance more striking.
Sound: Optional, but music enhances the flow and energy of the performance. I can bring my own portable speaker if needed.
Safety: Access to water, fire extinguisher, or fire blanket is required on site (I bring my own but venue support is helpful).
I can perforn to a variety of musical options and would love to discuss what you'd like for your event!
