From Texas to the Twin Cities, I've been painting faces, bringing joy, and spreading more than a touch of glitter and sparkles since 2022! I've offered face painting, glitter tattoos, Sparkle Bar, and henna at birthday parties, corporate events, bridal showers, farmers' markets, cultural festivals, and even more special events.
My specialty is speed painting, with most designs taking under 1 minute, which is great for restless kids and keeping the line moving at large corporate events! The most rewarding part of face painting has to be what the industry calls "mirror moments." The very first moment a child (even at heart!) looks into the mirror after getting their face painted and sees their transformation, the light in their eyes, the look of pure bliss, shock, and amazement; THAT is the moment I LIVE for.
I typically bring my own equipment. My minimum setup usually includes a chair, an A-frame menu board, and craft-and-go (think carry-on suitcase that transforms into a workstation!) I will need adequate space and lighting to ensure each face is as magical as possible. Because a lot of face painting requires communicating verbally with children, I ask not to be placed near any speakers; nobody wants zig where there should be a zag, or a line that should have been a dot!
I typically provide my own equipment, any theme decorations are to be provided by the client.
