Overview
As a face painter, my goal is to offer high quality work to my clients. I create not just the standard face painting ideas, etc. but also unique, elaborate faces. l add different touches to a face I've done before to make it fit the event. I love coming up with new ideas! I also offer arm and hand art, glitter tattoos, and balloon twisting.. I use only FDA approved, hypoallergenic face paints, and am fully insured. I will bring a table, chairs and outside canopy if needed to make the event as stress free as I can for the hosts. Each event is different, so the variety of faces I paint changes also, adding new ideas for future events.

Carolyn was very friendly and kind and offered individual attention to each child and adult that wanted to get their face, hand or arm painted. Designs were great and she stayed busy!!!

Carolyn was wonderful to work with! She showed up early and fully prepared for children ranging from 2 years old to adults! My sister even plans on using her for her daughter's birthday party this summer. Would definitely recommend and hire her again!

About
I'm a professionally trained artist. I attended and graduated from Paier School of Art in Hamden, CT, majoring in Commercial Art and Illustration. I'm currently a muralist by day, and face painter on weekends.
I had done face painting at community events that look for artists to do a variety of projects for guests and attendees. When I realized how much I enjoyed it , I decided to start doing it professionally. I'm also a muralist, and have done lots of outdoor art where I get to see feedback from people to my work.
I've worked for large groups for corporate events, community events and fairs, church events, family reunions, smaller birthday parties and also individuals who just wanted their face painted for a special party.
Additional booking notes
I like to discuss what the theme is for the party or event, and how many people will be there. For large groups, I might recommend to do just cheek art to be able to paint more faces, depending on how long I'm asked to be there. For smaller groups I can offer full face painting ,and if there's a birthday girl or boy, I'll paint them first to make their face special. I'm always updating my portfolio to suggest new ideas relating to the theme of the party. This helps especially with young children who are unsure what they might want for their face paint. I also offer hand art and both temporary and glitter tattooes for children who may not want their faces painted.
