I am passionate about face painting. I enjoy the energy between myself and the children and always treat them with love and respect. I have a Fine Arts Degree and had a professional painting career for over 10 years before I moved into the Graphic Design field. Face painting gives me a chance to reconnect to my first love: Painting. I only use the best and safest materials on the market. I also offer some simple henna designs, a reddish brown natural stain that stays on the skin for about a week. I also offer massage as I am a professional licensed massage therapist and could bring my table and skills to your event.

Born in Germany, lived in BC, Canada for 15 years and now in the United States. Strong Fine Arts Background, starting with Technical Pottery School in Germany, then Emily Carr College of Art and Design in Vancouver, BC. Graduated with honors in Painting. Had a professional painting career for over 10 years, during which I had shows and exhibits of my oil and acrylic paintings. Taught painting at Art School in Nelson, BC. Later had more schooling in Graphic Design at Corcoran School of Art in Washington, DC and College of DuPage. Worked for IBM for 13 years. Started face painting 12 years ago, initially mostly on voluntary basis, then professionally for last five years.
You can expect only my best: high quality work with lots of creativity and unique designs using only the best of materials. I enjoy the more challenging, intricate designs the most. Will do theme events, and come prepared with theme specific art boards the kids can choose from. I am patient and have a loving and respectful attitude towards all of my clients and strife to always create a fun and positive atmosphere for the kids. I am always open to paint adults as well.
Since I have a big selection of paints, I generally need a table at least 4'x4' in size. Two chairs, a well lit area, if possible not next to the loudest equipment at the party so that I can still speak and understand the clients. If outdoors a shady spot, prefer a table and chairs to a picnic table.
