Oh, hey there! I'm a stand-up comedian with 5+ years of experience performing at comedy clubs around Canada, festivals (Crack-Up Comedy Fest), & private events like weddings, fundraisers & private parties. I've opened for the great Joe Machi (Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon), Angelo Tsarouchas, and the Doo Wops for the Yuk Yuk's Italian Week. You might recognize me as "Guy Eating A Hamburger" on the internationally-aired (and probably critically acclaimed?) A&W "Better Beef" commercial. I offer clean comedy that can be tailored for more adult audiences. A lot of my material focuses on cultural observations from being raised by an Italian family. I also tend to poke fun at myself.
I was planning an online 40th birthday event for my wife and thought it would be fun to have a comedian perform for part of it. I came across Fabio's profile, and through a little additional research I found out he also does some work in film. I decided to approach him about putting together a tribute video for my wife in addition to performing some comedy and I am so glad I did! Fabio did a great job putting the videos together, came online and played them for us, and then performed a comedy routine with some wonderful personal touches. My wife was so touched and happy, and Fabio was great to work with throughout! Everyone at the event thoroughly enjoyed the videos and Fabio's comedy, he really made this a memorable event for us, and most importantly, for my wife who is still glowing! I highly recommend Fabio!
Fabio Ricci is an amazing comedian who not only told hilarious jokes, but tailored the experience to our specific institution! Fabio worked with the event coordinator and asked questions to make sure he could interact with the guests as much as possible. Several guests reached out after the event to praise Fabio and asked for his info to recreate the event at their work.
Fabio was a fantastic professional. He arrived early, was extremely friendly, and put on a fantastic show. He had everyone in the room laughing hysterically at one point or another. He even had some office-themed jokes fit for the occasion!

I bring a lot of energy to the stage, and I focus on making the audience feel like they are part of the show. I tend to treat stand-up comedy as an interactive form of entertainment.
At private events, weddings, fundraisers, etc., I tailor my material to be relevant to the cause or theme, and as a writer, I am able to write custom-tailored jokes that speak to the specific audience or event. If you want me to roast someone, I can (and will, with great pleasure) do that.
I have my own equipment that I bring with me to my performances. This equipment includes Speaker, Microphone and Microphone Stand.
So you wanna get to know a little bit more about me, eh? I'm an Ottawa boy with a background in acting, writing and directing. My career started out behind the camera, working with actors on short films, TV commercials and corporate videos. I tried my hand at acting and landed some small roles on TV commercials (and one web series) until I decided that performing in front of a live audience was much more rewarding. As a stand-up comedian, I write and perform material that looks inward on the culture I was brought up in; a loud, obnoxious and silly Italian household. My comedy pokes fun at myself, and touches on themes of family, relationships, growing up, and navigating through life with the misguided advice from my foreign parents.
Outside of comedy, you can catch me continuing to write, direct, shoot and edit videos for all different kinds of brands who are looking for a little bit of comedic flair to their commercials.
I like cats and soccer. Not sure what you can do with that information, but there it is for ya.
I have my own equipment that I bring with me to every show, including a microphone, microphone stand, speaker.
Although it is not necessarily required, it is preferable to that the venue has an elevated platform and adequate lighting (room lights are dim and a spotlight is focused on the stage or performing area). HOWEVER, this is not a deal-breaker; I can perform my comedy while riding a horse, although I would prefer not to.
I do also have access to a spotlight, so venue lighting is flexible as well!
Adequate seating
Dimly lit room (preferable!)
