We specialize in event consulting, management, and rental for all things audio visual. Our specialty is producing live events!
Product and services offerings include:
- audio systems with all speakers, mixing consoles, microphones, wireless systems, snakes, etc.
- lighting systems including stage lighting, concert lighting, up lighting, and special effects
- video systems including projectors, screens, cameras, displays, presentation systems, and more
- with sub-rental agreements, we are able to get almost anything else we don't carry in house
Additionally we offer videographers, DJs, audio engineers, video/broadcast engineers, lighting directors, stage managers, AV techs, and more.

About

Chris Shelton is Owner and Director of EventPoint. He has an extensive background in audio, lighting, and video production, with direct experience supporting over 300 events as producer for a touring stage production in the Southeast U.S. Chris launched his own production company as AV Media Source in 2006, and recently re-branded his company as EventPoint to communicate his vision to be a single point of support for "all things related to events."

Our Service Area​

We are based in Valdosta, GA and routinely serve an area within a 100 mile radius. However, we are built to serve any customer who needs us, and we are particularly interested in companies and organizations that need extended audio/visual support for regional meetings in the Southeast U.S. While we are able to support events of any scale, our specialty is support for corporate events such as training, product launches, banquets, and fundraisers.

Service Options​

AV Manage - This option is for the client who wants a one stop shop for all of their event needs. We have created a process for planning and executing every audio visual aspect as well as managing the stage and all other details of the event. In this role, you are hiring Event Point to provide all the equipment and technical labor resources as well as provide the planning and preparation for the event. The truly ideal scenario is to allow us to manage everything so that you can stay focused on the message and your attendees. Expect us to actively be involved on the front end of your event in planning meetings and reviewing diagrams and other documentation to ensure nothing is overlooked.

AV Rental - This service offering is for those who already have most of their event needs in place. Maybe you are just short a wireless mic, a projector, or some video gear. We are able to supply most any audio, lighting, or video equipment to fill this need. When you rent from us, we also include delivery and setup to ensure everything works as expected. There's nothing worse than having everything ready to go only to find the gear isn't compatible with your systems.

AV Consulting - This option is popular with clients who either own a venue or church and need some assistance with their existing setup, or are planning an event and would like some help in ensuring some of the details are taken care of. Maybe the venue is providing some equipment and you aren't quite sure what to expect so you hire us to come and help run the event technically. We can provide technicians to handle most any audio visual need, even if you don't rent the gear from us. Our hope is to take the headaches away for you.

A la carte services include a wide range of specific needs you may have for your event but may not quite fit into one of the service offerings above. This may include hiring Event Point to create any special media/graphics, presentations or videos to be used during or after your event.

If you are an event manager or coordinator responsible for arranging regional meeting series for events such as Continuing Medical Education, regional/district training, product launches, and sales events within the Southeast U.S., EventPoint can be your one-stop A/V solution for every event in the region. When you work with us, you just let us know your locations, schedules, and requirements, and we ensure that all technical coordination, set-up and support are on-site and ready to go for you!
