Event Photography and Video

Multi-facet talent, experienced, and people friendly photographer/videographer who knows how to not only get her shot, but to do it well. Live events can be very stressful to some, I thrive on it. I have experienced the fire and stress so many times in my career that I can honestly say I love it.

Photos and videos are delivered when promised in a professional presentation. I work easily with the bride and/or bride's mother, marketing department, and event coordinator in selecting photos for consideration to choosing the final photos and video.

Born in NYC I moved to LA in 1989. My education includes studying film production at UCLA and photography at various locations such as The Brooks Institute, seminars with several successful fashion and portrait photographers such as Lara Jade, Lindsay Adler, and Melissa Rodwell.

As a second career (the first was in entertainment finance), my artistry comes from decades of watching, dissecting and analyzing great artist. My style is my own cultivated from the greats like Annie Leibovitz, Cindy Sherman, Diane Arbus, David Bailey, Bert Stern and more.

I shoot live events, both photography and videos for music, dance, weddings, club, awards shows, parties, seminars and interviews. I have extensive experience in these genres.

My video editing skills range from single and multi-cam live events to special effects, green screen and drone. I have extensive post production experience in both photography and video. This is a critical skill for my clients and is the difference that sets me apart from other professionals. I have studied post production techniques for several years can provide advanced skills in this area.

Shooting photos requires the management of light. Whether they are naturally lit, enhanced with flash, or a combination of both, I am able to make quick adjustments to accommodate any situation.

Shooting video is somewhat more challenging. The light needs to be constant and strategically placed. Each event is unique and it's lighting requirements varies. In some events lighting may be prohibited. It's best to scout the location before the event to determine what the parameters and rules are to prepare ahead.
