Amazing authentic presence

Helen helped us to assist our 5 year old daughter during a blindfold vision training class. With my 5 year old being very active and was a bit scared and shy, Helen was able to provide the space for her to feel safe, calm and heard. Helen had this grounded and joyful presence and my daughter was able to get through the class with ease. I trust Helen to hold space for anyone. She is intuitive, respectful and was born to do this kind of work!

Warm, Professional, and Always One Step Ahead

Helen has supported our women’s workshops as a server, and she consistently makes our events run better. She jumps right into the practical work — setting up the room, moving chairs, keeping the food and beverage stations stocked, and handling clean-up with no fuss. She notices what needs to be done and takes care of it before anyone has to ask.

When I arrive, I quickly assess the space, identify what may be missing, and clarify how much involvement you would like from me. Some hosts want updates and check-ins. Others prefer I use my judgment and handle details independently. I establish that upfront so you are not burdened with unnecessary decisions.

Throughout the event, I watch for subtle things that impact flow and safety. I adjust logistics for smoother movement, prevent small issues from becoming distractions, and quietly manage details such as supply levels, timing shifts, and guest comfort. If something runs off schedule, I present clear options and adapt with you.

My goal is simple. Reduce your mental load. Help your guests feel included and at ease.

Hosts often tell me they were able to enjoy their own event because they did not have to think about what was happening behind the scenes. I blend in naturally, elevate the atmosphere, and make the experience feel effortless.

I’m Helen Tiet-Chen, an Event Experience Director with over 25 years in hospitality, restaurant ownership, and live event environments.

Over the years, I have realized I am not just drawn to events. I am drawn to how people feel inside them. I notice when someone is left out, when the energy shifts, or when the host is carrying more than they should. That awareness shapes the way I guide each experience.

I guide the rhythm and flow of your event so you can relax and truly enjoy your own celebration. From welcoming guests and leading meaningful moments to managing transitions and quietly resolving issues before they surface, I make sure everything unfolds smoothly and naturally.

What matters most to me is that no one feels overlooked. Not the shy guest in the corner and not the host trying to hold everything together. I bring calm leadership, strong awareness, and reassuring presence so the room feels connected, relaxed, and naturally flowing.

To ensure your event flows smoothly, the following support is helpful:
• A brief walkthrough of the space, guest flow, and overall timeline
• A clear understanding of my role and scope for the event
• Access to the run-of-show or program outline, if applicable
• A designated point of contact for any real-time adjustments
• Pre-event coordination if key moments, transitions, or vendors are involved

If I am guiding or speaking during the event:
• Microphone and sound support appropriate for the size of the space
• Finalized schedule shared in advance whenever possible

Dress Code
Please let me know the tone and attire expectations so I can align seamlessly with your event style.

Meals & Breaks
For events exceeding four hours, a vendor meal or brief break period is appreciated and helps ensure sustained focus and performance throughout the event.
