Overview

I will usually sing softer or slow-ish songs, however can do faster paced ones as well — everything from Elvis to paramore to even cheesy and sappy bands like never shout never (so much nostalgia). My music taste is fairly flexible so if there is a specific theme/artist or songs you’d like then I’d certainly give them a shot! I can also act, as well as play the piano.

What to expect

I can offer performances as well as visual art pieces. Piano, singing, guitar (still fairly new to this specifically, but catching on quickly), acting, and story-writing/telling. I can also provide you with beautiful works of art of anything of your choice (I do specialize in portraits/people shots and mythological creatures, but can do more than that). Basically any art need that you have, I can provide.

About

Hello! I’m Eva. I’ve been very invested in the arts since before I could even walk, mainly visual and fine arts, though around the age of 10-11 I began to get involved in acting as well. Through 6th-12th grade, I took drama courses and have helped set up and perform in plays/musicals inside and outside of school. Around 9th grade, I began getting involved in music. 11th grade I taught myself how to play the piano, and began learning how to sing. As of recently, I’ve also taken up guitar and am currently teaching myself how to play that as well. I have performed before, a few times in school, but mostly outside of school from busking with one of my best friends (We both sang and he played guitar) who I’ve known since middle school as well as singing at an actual venue in Sandhills. Though this is a “gig” website, I will also do commissions for visual art!! I’m mostly into work with copic markers or digital art, however I can do other mediums as well such as pencil, oil/acrylic painting, colored pencil, etc. I mostly do portraits/people shots or mythological creatures, but will gladly do other things as well.

Additional booking notes

As for performances, the biggest thing I ask for is to have a clear space where I can focus on what I’m doing (I can deal with distractions, however it is not ideal for anyone, even famous professionals). If a piano performance is what’s wanted, I will need the piano or keyboard to be provided given that I can’t travel with my full-sized piano to venues. I do however have my own guitar (I only play acoustic), so that will not be an issue. I can usually project my voice fairly well with singing without a mic, but if the performance place is a little larger then I would really need to be notified of this so I can be sure to bring the correct materials with me.

Set list

I usually don’t have a for-sure set list that I use. I’ll usually make one up depending on the venue/type of music that the person would like for me to. However I have done a few set lists consisting of Paramore, Birdy, Never Shout Never, and Death Cab for Cutie songs.

Influences and inspiration

My major influences in guitar/singing comes from many different bands and artists of very different backgrounds and genres such as Paramore, Green Day, All Time Low, EDEN, Kaleo, The Civil Wars, Lund, Patty Walters, Jaymes Young, The Tragic Thrills, Never Shout Never, and more. As for pianists, they usually come from movie soundtracks or well-known pianists such as Yiruma, who is my favorite. When it comes to visual art, there’s no real single person who influences me, but the specific artstyle is usually either with very bright popping colors to catch the eye or a little more morbid styled. Very different, I know.
