Overview

I’m a singing guitarist/keyboardist offering a warm, indie-leaning take on classic and modern songs for intimate events – art galleries, bookstores, small gatherings, and laid-back parties. My set blends familiar favorites (Bill Withers, Elton John, Harry Styles, David Bowie, and more) with tasteful deep cuts, arranged for voice, guitar or piano, and subtle rhythm support. I keep the volume conversation-friendly and the vibe relaxed, focusing on good time feel, clear vocals, and songs that make people smile, hum along, or just enjoy having a musician in the room.

Ethan Amazing!

Ethan was fantastic! We had him perform at our party on August 1st, playing guitar, keyboards, and singing throughout the afternoon. He provided such a great atmosphere with lovely renditions of a wide variety of songs and was a perfect fit for the event.

Beyond being a talented musician, Ethan was incredibly easy to work with from start to finish. He has a fun, laid back, jovial personality, interacted wonderfully with our guests, and just made the entire experience effortless.

We received plenty of compliments on the music throughout the day and would absolutely recommend Ethan to anyone looking for live music for a party or event. We’d happily have him back again!

Hired as: Guitarist, Keyboard Player, Singing Guitarist, Singing Pianist

Influences and inspiration

David Bowie, Blur, Peter Bjorn and John, Lykke Li, Feist, The Shins, Caveman, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, and 5000 other tracks I found on Spotify.

Setup requirements

One standard 120V power outlet within 10–15 feet of the performance area

A clear space approximately 6 ft x 6 ft for my setup (guitar/keyboard, mic stand, and small speaker)

Protection from weather for outdoor events (cover from sun/rain and a flat, stable surface)

Nearby parking or a safe loading area for bringing in gear

For quieter, listening-focused events: a relatively low-noise area so vocals and instruments can be heard comfortably
