What to expect
An entertainer dressed proplerly creating just the right ambience. They'd hear popular songs in various genres at the right volume for the occasion.
About
A pupil of a pupil of the great George Benson,
and native of Pittsburgh Pa, Eric’s Brother Kennard
taught him the basics of guitar at age 10. “George
was Ken’s first teacher. They were childhood friends
along with another guitar great from Pittsburgh, the
late great Jimmy Ponder. There was always a band
rehearsing at my house. In the late 60s, the late
great Phyliss Hyman was the lead singer in Ken’s
band.”
At age 12, Eric’s family moved to Detroit. Eric
put music on the back burner as he excelled in
sports, mainly basketball in high school at Detroit
Cass Tech and colleges Schoolcraft CC, Weber State
University and EMU. Later he would go on to coach
basketball in Jr. College and in the ABA.
Following college, Eric went into an intense study
of the guitar fretboard. His study induced him to
write a guitar book, two general music theory books
and produce over 50 instructional videos. He has
been playing and teaching guitar for over 30 years.
As a solo artist, Eric masterfully blends a mixture
of Jazz Standards, Easy Listening, R&B, Pop, Latin,
Boss Nova, and Smooth Jazz. He has played with
the likes of Liza Minnelli, Martha Reeves, Johnny
O’Neal, and the late greats Ernie Rodgers, Marcus
Belgrave, Teddy Harris, Rudy Robinson and Joe
Hunter to name a few.

Set list
I have over 500 songs. Various genres. There are many more that i can play or learn. I read the room and use of it what I feel will fit the occasion. Other than that, I wouldn't want to limit myself to just a few songs here.
