Eric is from a small town in the South Suburbs of Chicago where his passion for dance started. Training at local studios and premiere facilities within the Chicago and Los Angeles community, he has been shaped into the artist he is today. Over the years, he has been fortunate enough to train under some of the biggest names in the dance industry: including Willdabeast Adams, Janelle Ginestra, and Nick DeMoura to name a few. Specializing in Hip Hop, Eric also holds training in Ballet, Contemporary, and Tap. Eric has been fortunate to travel from coast to coast, performing and teaching in various cities including Las Vegas, Miami, Kansas City, and Los Angeles to name a few. A few of his performance credits include the infamous Navy Pier in Chicago, BCS Orange Bowl Halftime show (Under direction by Cris Judd), Walt Disney World, The Harlem Globetrotters and country music star Jake Owen. Recently, Eric has had the opportunity to work with Atlantic Records recording artist, DLOW on his two most recent music videos, “Bet You Can’t Do it Like Me” and “Do Yo Dance”. As an educator, Eric has been a sought after instructor invited to adjudicate and teach across the United States and Europe in countries such as England, Belgium, France and The Netherlands with the WAVES Dance Workshop and Competition. Taking his love of dance to new heights, Eric Co-founded Maverick Dance Project, an In-Studio intensive program providing students nationwide with a top tier dancer development course by some of the hottest Choreographers and Instructors from Chicago & LA. Maverick Dance Project is aimed to maximize every dancer’s fullest potential as an artist and individual through the principles of purpose, passion, guidance and strength. When not touring with Maverick, Eric can be found teaching nationwide. His motivating personality and teaching method, progression over perfection, make him a class favorite to his students.
