Response from Eric Elmi:
Thank you for your great review. :-)
When Eric left me a quote, I wasn't sure what to expect from a jazz acoustic guitarist. I'm so glad I took a leap of faith and booked him for our event. He is extremely talented, as well as being professional and friendly. People hearing him play through a remote speaker in a different room thought they were listening to a recording, he was so good! Children who had been running and playing stopped and sa,t watching him play his guitar. Our event had been going for 8 hours before Eric started to play, and the most stressful part was still to come. But as soon as Eric started to play, all the stress just melted away. I sat and relaxed in a chair and listened for a while, and was then able to move to the next part with less anxiety and more strength. I can't say enough good things about him! I would recommend Eric to anyone looking for a true professional, with an abundance of talent!
Response from Eric Elmi:

Eric and Scott,
I wanted to say thank you so much for playing our wedding and setting the exact mood we hoped for. Your playing was so beautiful and you're such a pleasure to work with. I have gotten so many compliments on how wonderful your playing was and how much everyone truly enjoyed it! Also thank you so much for making our first dance with your version of our special song so perfect. It means so much to us, it is a memory Dave and I will cherish forever (even though I was so nervous I cut the dance short!) You guys are great we can't wait book you again (maybe for our 10 year anniversary)Thanks again!

The Northeast Ohio Coalition for the Homeless partners with Catholic Charities Bishop Cosgrove Center to present a fine dining meal for homeless people. We have overseen this meal for five years, and it is an event to look forward to by the homeless community. There is a fine dining meal, table cloths, flowers on every table and nice china for the 200 people served on that one day. We also augment the atmosphere with music to make the four star dining experience complete.
We are so thankful for Eric Elmi playing during our Hand Up Gala and making the dining experience special for homeless people in Cleveland. Your Latin inspired guitar work provided the proper atmosphere to make this event special for homeless people. We received only positive reviews from the 200 who attended. The volunteers were impressed with the event and loved the music. Of the five years of the Hand Up Gala, I enjoyed your performance more than any of the other years.
The Coalition loves the dignity and self-affirming Hand Up Gala project. We are so honored to be a part of this important event in Cleveland. We want to thank you for adding some lively upbeat music to this unique dining experience in Cleveland. We have witnessed individuals show up in the morning haggard and overwhelmed, and by the end of the day are happy and have a new outlook. We have many homeless who dress up in their best outfits to attend the Hand Up Gala.
Please contact us if you would like to volunteer in the near future. We do not have enough events in the community where homeless people get to enjoy the arts.
Sincerely,
Brian P. Davis
