Clapton's song catalog is so extensive it gives us the opportunity to customize the presentation to the venue's needs. We typically do the show in one of three ways:
1. A live Clapton concert experience, the way he does it. A more intimate approach, starts acoustically, builds slowly in intensity, lots of stories and details about songs. ~ 1 1/2 hours
2. For clubs and festivals, a more hard hitting rock approach, usually with a short acoustic portion
in the middle. 1 - 3 hours
3. Songs by the decades, with costume changes, showcasing the Cream years, the unplugged phenomenon, and then his solo career hits. 1 1/2 - 2 hours
About
Eric and the Dominoes is Bill Garvin - lead guitar and vocals, Joe Remele - drums, Tracy Mortimer - bass and vocals, Jon Varo - keyboards and vocals, Vickie Garvin - background vocals.
Through thousands of performances and years of study, Bill Garvin has achieved that elusive "touch" necessary to emulate Slowhand's playing, and he has assembled a notable cast of musicians in support of this project.
He first hit the national stage as lead guitarist for the Larry Keyes band, headlining festivals in California, touring in support of a number three hit, “Bar Room Romeos”, and played alongside such bands as Poco and the Charlie Daniels Band. He then moved to a solo career, playing extensively in California, New York, and Florida, before settling in Arizona, where he has gathered a large local following, playing concerts and festivals throughout the state. Now he brings you the guitar and songs of Clapton.
