MEET Ashley Hodges, an eclectic being who’s energy and spirit shines through her God-given talents, which most often manifest as artist, speaker and creativity coach, among other phenomenal positions. It’s no surprise that the name Epiphany was bestowed upon Ashley some years ago, given that she has experienced consistent break throughs, both personally and professionally in her life and is on an infinite journey of self-discovery. “I am still a work in progress, but every day I am focusing on my progress!” says Epiphany. “This journey has been long and hard but it has also been meaningful and worthwhile.”

In fact, Epiphany’s unyielding mission and movement is built on the premise, “from struggle to triumph.” And in her many efforts, she encourages her audience, clients and supporters to tap into their inner creativity to overcome challenges, express themselves and evoke their very greatness. Regardless of title, Epiphany strives to carry forth a message of restoration that encourages people to believe in themselves, while identifying their core purposes in life. With a focus on creative expression, Epiphany supports people in reaching their full potential through art and healthy conversation.

Forever humbled, Epiphany expresses joy in the recognition she has received for doing what is so very important to her, helping people via Epiphany Enterprises’ valuable creativity and arts based programs. To date, for her unwavering services to the community, Epiphany has amassed accolades such as ​Phenomenal Women of DC (93.9 WKYS) and DMV’S Top 30 under 30 Entrepreneurs (93.9 WKYS) and involvement in an All Female Cypher (WJLA, Good Morning Washington) and Workshop on Gun Violence (Baltimore Sun). Poetry has certainly served as a catalyst for many of her growing list of opportunities, which includes performances at the Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center, Bus Boys and Poets, Speak Life Tour, Metro Performs and 30th Annual Mayor’s Arts Awards, among notable others. Additionally, via poetry, Epiphany has landed appearances on leading television and radio outlets in the Metro Washington, D.C. area such as Good Morning Washington (WJLA News Channel 8), The DMV experience (Fairfax public access), Speak Out Radio (Radio One), Lonnie Hunter Show and more. Lastly, Epiphany’s poems have been featured in numerous publications.
