I've studied art since receiving my first scholarship at age 12 and have continued my training since college, especially studying portraiture. However, my sense of humor and fascination with people has always pushed me towards cartooning, and my past experience working in an executive capacity with businesses such as Four Seasons Hotels allows me to interact with a wide variety of people in a professional, yet fun, environment. My cartoon portraits have been the hit at a myriad of events over the years and include many, many celebrities as well as regular folks celebrating a birthday. Once they sit in the chair, the labels disappear and they're all beautiful faces with smiles and personalities.

I have streamlined my operation over the years, and work at a portable easel with simple, elegant clamp-on lighting, all conveyed in a roller luggage type case. All I need from a client is a space to draw in that allows room for guests to line up and/or watch the drawings evolve, plus my easel and two lightweight chairs, with access to a light outlet. Simple yet effective.
