Alba Figueroa has always had a passion for sharing stories and has an approachable and transparent style that makes it seem that she was born to plan weddings. She also intuitively understands ideas and feelings that make planning and designing a wedding a fun and effortless process for everyone involved. Alba’s innate ability to create immediate connections with her clients has led them to say that she’s “amazing” and a “true professional” that they “cannot recommend enough!”. She is highly regarded for her practical creativity and ability to keep an eye on every moving piece of an event. Through her endless dedication to her clients, her keen sense of style and her love affair with weddings, Alba was motivated to launch Blush Events LLC after working 9 years in the digital marketing industry. Alba received her certification for Wedding and Event Planner and certification for Event Stylist from the Lovegevity Wedding Planning Institute (LWPI) where she had the opportunity to intern with David Tutera. She also received her bachelor’s degree in Communications majoring in Journalism from Bayamón Central University in Puerto Rico in 2005 and has held certifications as a Digital Marketing Specialist and Product Launch Specialist since 2009. When she’s not planning and dreaming of weddings, you can find Alba immersing herself in Bollywood movies, savoring time with her husband and two sons, as well as bingeing on her favorite series (like Outlander, The Crown, Once Upon A Time and Super Girl) and indulging on some occasional sweet eats (such as Ben and Jerry’s Cookie Dough Ice Cream).
