Emily Yarascavitch provides premium violin/fiddle services in the GTA, and has been performing professionally for 15+ years. Her ability to improvise allows her to easily collaborate with other artists in varying genres.
She tours North America professionally with the Tartan Terrors, performs as a solo artist and as a duo act with guitar/vocals.

All our friends and family were amazed and enjoyed the Scottish music at the wedding ceremony. We will definitely have her back with her band for our whisky tasting and farm festivities.

Emily offers a variety of tailored violin services to compliment any event, big or small. With a repertoire of songs spanning many genres and the ability to freely improvise, Emily creates each of her set lists to suit the requirements of her clients.

Duo performance of violin with guitar/vocals. (classic rock, pop, celtic, top 40 etc.)
Emily Yarascavitch is a violinist/fiddler versatile in the styles of Canadian Old Time Fiddling, Kashubian Fiddling, Celtic (Scottish, Irish, Cape Breton), Country, Pop, and Classical Violin. Her ability to improvise allows her to easily collaborate with other artists in varying genres and she creates custom sets with backing tracks for any event or occasion. She is also an accomplished Ottawa Valley Step-dancer.
She currently tours North America professionally with The Tartan Terrors, North America's Premiere Celtic Event. She is also part of a new international project called Across: The Fiddlers Collective. She has toured across Canada with The Scott Woods Band and plays regularly with Phill Hood, Jay Andrews (Shreem X Celtic Remix) and other solo artists.
Emily is currently a full time music instructor in Oshawa ON, giving lessons in Violin, Fiddle, Step-dance and Music Theory. She is a 2020 and 2021 Readers' Choice Diamond Winner in the categories: "Best Music Instructor" and "Best Music Instruction Service".
As a classical musician she has completed Advanced Theory and playing examinations through the Royal Conservatory of Music.
Emily has earned titles such as Junior Canadian Champion, Grand Masters Junior Showcase Performer, a two time Canadian Open Duet Champion, and Canadian Grand Masters finalist.
She has worked on several session recordings as a soloist and with string ensemble.
She has energetic stage performance and would love to be part of your event!
