Ms. Em Henry, Owner and Creative Director of Em Henry Events, is the guiding force behind the thriving event planning company. Coming from a very social family, Em got her entertaining spirit from her mother who was always entertaining family and friends on an extravagant level. With that passion instilled she began her event planning career at a very early age. By the time Em was sixteen, she was the go-to girl when it came to planning fundraisers for her high school’s clubs and organizations.

While she received her formal event training by studying Business Management & Hospitality Management at Howard University, Em gained valuable hands on experience by working with numerous hospitality firms including catering companies, country clubs and hotels to plan their special events.

After years of planning events in the corporate sector, for major players such as the Phoenix Convention & Tourism Bureau, Nike and the U.S. Air Force, Em integrated her entrepreneurial spirit to venture out her own. Thus, Em Henry Events, a full service event planning company that specializes in weddings, upscale parties and fundraisers was established.

With over 12 years of planning events, Em's reputation for professionalism and commitment to excellence has afforded her the opportunity to work with the region's most successful and influential people including business leaders, politicians and professional athletes.
