Personable and always family friendly, my Elvis tribute show is packed with energy and audience interaction because it's about providing an enjoyable time for you and your guests.
For fast songs I do the footwork of the 50s and some karate for the songs like Suspicious Minds. For slower songs, I like to walk into the audience shaking hands, occasionally stopping to hold the hand of a someone and sing directly to them.
You decide the program length. Anything from a 3 song serenade to a multiple set program with costume changes. Have a particular song you'd like to hear? A special guest in the audience? No problem. I'm here to serve you.
Winner of 3 contests, I can promise you a great show!
We hired Elvis John to perform for our parents' 50th Wedding Anniversary party. I had never hired an Elvis impersonator before, so was not sure what to expect. He answered all our questions promptly and was a complete professional. His performance was a perfect blend of singing, dancing, interacting with the crowd, and light humor. Everyone really enjoyed the show! I would hire Elvis John again.
Elvis John performed a great show despite the cold weather for our picnic XYZ group event at LaFollette park with a Wide variety of songs and dance moves and requests. He was very engaging to audience members and true to Elvis style. Beautiful voice and passion for his art. Thanks for the songs:)
Elvis John was professional, engaging, entertaining, humorous and a pleasure to work with!
Elvis John competed with 8 other ETAs and came out on top. During the afternoon he was well received at an assisted living home in Waupun WI. In the evening he competed in the Search for The KING also in Waupun WI. Always personable, always professional, always there to please his audience.
It was a pleasure to see you perform at The Waterford in Park Falls. Your program was outstanding - as my mother said "This is the best we've ever had." Thank you.
Elvis John was FANTASTIC! Very entertaining, low maintenance (didn't require a lot of prep work) and easy to work with. Highly recommend!
I really enjoyed his performance!! My mother and all the folks at the assisted living really enjoyed. My mother has a hard time getting words to come out to communicate but watching her sing along yesterday and the words came out like when she was younger. He shows as much compassion for the older generation. Thanks!!! Mary
From start to finish, John was a true professional. He promptly (and patiently) answered all of my emails regarding the booking, times, outfits, songs, etc. I couldn't be more happy with the results. My Mom will never forget her 75th Birthday, thanks to John and his wife, Ann. I would highly recommend him for any event needing a fantastic Elvis Tribute Artist. (FYI...he even gave my Mom a card he drew himself. He is not only a musician/performer, but an artist as well.)
Exceeded my expectations ten-fold.
My group enjoyed Elvis John very much. He was very engaging and entertaining.
I booked Elvis John for a surprise birthday party for my dad. I got more then I could have hoped for . It was an excellent show he had the voice and the moves. He was really nice and willing to and a couple last minute things . We all had the best time with him there . Thanks Elvis for bringing my party to the never forget about party level!
We hired Elvis John for our first event at our restaurant Wildflower Cafe in Cleveland. It was a huge success. Our guests loved the show and had so much fun. I would recommend hiring him.
This was a very warm and wonderful event for our residents and also many guests. Your way of bringing the audience into the action was so exciting and made everyone there long for more. Hope we will be able to book you before you are too busy to accept more invitations, we adored you! Many thanks from the staff, the residents and guests.
Elvis John was fantastic! He is the physical Elvis and the moves were so fun to watch. I had many comments on how well he sung and that he was so nice. He had a really nice range of music and everyone enjoyed themselves. Many people asked me how I found him - I'm so glad I did. ...He made our party fun and special! Thank you Elvis John! !
My daughter is a huge Elvis Fan and we decided it would be fun to have an Elvis at her surprise party. We were very pleased and impressed with how wonderful John entertained about 25 Sixteen year old girls, many of whom did not know who Elvis was! My daughter loved him and her friends all commented how much fun the show was!! Thank you John!
We have hired John aka Elvis two times this past year. Once to celebrate the first day of summer and now at our company's annual Chili Fest last week. John's authentic Elvis apparel right down to the accessories is such a delight. John sings, moves and dances just like Elvis himself. So much fun. Once thing you can always count on is for John to leave your guests with a very memorable occasion and wonderful comments on just how amazing he impersonates Elvis.
Elvis was talented and very professional. The show was a perfect style and length to suit our event. Thanks, Elvis John!
First of all I didn't hire him, I actually was a spectator. He really worked hard to capture the feeling of Elvis. He has a very good voice and I really enjoy listening to him sing. He captivates the audience with his movements and singing. He is a good Elvis Tribute Artist and I know he will continue to get even better!
Response from Elvis John:
This event had me wearing black leather and singing songs from the '68 comeback show. When doing uptempo songs, I do incorporate appropriate moves, including Elvis' signature karate moves. I always strive to give a crowd pleasing show! Correen was a very enthusiastic spectator at this well attended event.
What to Expect
With regard to the show itself, you can expect Elvis "moves." This would include karate kicks and punches and other signature moves Elvis did with particular songs. I enjoy doing them and judging by audience reaction, they do too! If I'm wearing a jumpsuit (as opposed to my '68 black leather suit), you can expect some scarves to be handed out. I am available after the event for meet and greet and photos.
In 2016 I took first place in the "Search For The King" contest (Waupun). I am also the back to back winner for 2013 and 2014 "Kings of the Valley" contest (Oshkosh). I was also a top finalist at the 2015 "Elvis Explosion" event (Lacrosse). In fact, I have been a finalist in any event I have ever entered.
My repertoire covers songs from the 50s, 60s, and 70s, including gospel songs. A typical one hour show will include a mix of everything. A longer multi set show will include a new outfit with each set.
The outfits are an important consideration for any Elvis show because Elvis is so identified by what he wore. My jumpsuits are faithful reproductions of the actual outfits Elvis wore on stage. The are stunning. I have also created a wonderful 1950s and 1960s ensemble and have a reproduction of the leather outfit from the '68 comeback. Rounding out the outfit options, I also have several high collar puffy sleeve shirts that work well with some venues. Plus every program, regardless of length, includes a meet and greet photo opportunity. And of course I always have some scarves to share.
I am punctual and will arrive early with time to set up and get dressed into my stage outfit so I am ready to begin the show according to your time table. If you're looking for a surprise Elvis appearance with just a few songs, I also have a secondary, very portable sound system for those occasions!
In addition to private parties, benefits, and public venue events, I have performed at more than 60 different assisted living communities throughout Wisconsin.
I recently attended a SPARK conference in Appleton that works to develop engaging programs for people with memory loss. This has been valuable to me as I engage with those living at assisted living communities, especially with those living within memory care units of those communities.
My show really is about the audience: shaking hands, kneeling by a person and singing a verse directly to them. Even sharing the mic with a fan. My goal is to provide you and your guests with a great and memorable show.
Additional Booking Notes
My sound system consists of two Electro Voice ZLX 15P speakers and a shure wireless hand held mic. All my backing tracks are on an ipad. I also have lights available for use when needed and a backdrop for larger events.
What this means for you is I just need outlet to plug into. This system runs fine plugging into a single outlet in the wall of your home or venue.
Finally, this system sets up quickly and and has a small footprint so space is never an issue.

I sing to professional backing tracks which include the 50s, 60s and 70s, gospel and Christmas Elvis songs.
Some tracks have multiple versions. For example, I have the studio version of Suspicious Minds and also two concert versions which are quite different from one another. One is a 1969 Las Vegas version an the the other one from Madison Square Garden 1972.
A typical one hour set would include a mix of songs from Elvis' entire career. A multi-set show would be more decade specific. So two sets might be songs of the 50-60s for the first set and then the second set would be a jumpsuit set and include songs mostly from the 70s.
Of course, I can do any requests or arrangement of songs you might like. Or perhaps you want a themed program. A Christmas show would favor more Christmas songs while still including other well known Elvis hits.
Influences & Inspiration
I have always been an Elvis fan and enjoyed collecting all things Elvis.
Way back, I had done lip syncs to Elvis songs. Then about 6 years ago I participated in an Elvis Tribute Artist contest. I had a tremendous time and wanted to do this more. To keep improving I watch Elvis videos on Youtube and I have also taken voice lessons from a Lawrence University (Appleton) graduate student to continue perfecting my vocals.
I just love Elvis' music and being able to share it with others by performing and entertaining is a dream come true.
