When my husband and I started planning our wedding, we knew we wanted to walk down the aisle to the sound of a harp. After reviewing several harpists, we chose Ellen Shiraef, and we’re so glad we did. Ellen was prompt, professional, and exceptionally skilled throughout the entire experience. We even asked her to play different songs for each member of our processional, including "A Thousand Years" by Christina Perri for our walk down the aisle, and she did so expertly. After our ceremony, she set the perfect mood during cocktail hour with her beautiful playing. Having Ellen perform made our wedding truly unforgettable. Ellen is willing to meet with clients prior to the wedding to discuss details and song choices. She arrives at least 30 minutes early to set up and prepare for the event. Ellen's harp is a Lyon and Healy Ogden lever harp, and she offers free amplification if needed.
