Elizabeth Owens – Modern Harpist

I'll play a magical solo set for your event — whether it be harp or piano only, singing with accompaniment, ambience, or cover songs.

Typically, I play 2-hour sets for events but can be flexible.

I take song requests in advance and can prepare just about any piece of music to fit the style of your event.

I am a full-time harpist, vocalist, composer, producer and educator based in Richmond, VA.

While classically trained, I love playing in all styles from Celtic and classical to Latin-American and jazz-inspired.
No matter the genre, the most important thing for me is collaborating with you to manifest the performance of your dreams.

What sets me apart:
I love playing covers, and have a knack for arranging disparate genres into enrapturing harp pieces (I have even done this with 90s house music and Prince songs!). Client's of mine often request this for weddings and special events so they can connect with their favorite music and still maintain the elegance of the harp.

With my background in composition and production, I'm able to incorporate multi-instrumental elements and backing tracks upon request. I can even provide audio equipment (microphones, speakers) for speeches and transitional music if needed.

I can provide my own speakers / stands / microphones, etc. All I need is power!
